The Transportation Coordinator role supports our teams to ensure the effective implementation of our strategy, projects, and programs. Our team’s North Star is to generate the greatest impact by partnering with our Content & Production teams and cross-functional partners to support and guide productions through their transportation responsibilities.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads and optimizes overall data organization including folders, air tables, etc.
  • Supports the team in assigning Task Tracker to productions and Transportation Leads to Slate Manager.
  • Automates workflows including welcome emails for new productions.
  • Obtains transportation-related regulatory approvals (e.g. Motor Carrier Authority number, USDOT PIN, CA#, EPN Requestor Code), pays appropriate fees, and manages data in company applications.
  • Monitors and assures various transportation compliance activities are activated/deactivated/reported as needed (e.g., MCS-150 update, inactive DOT numbers).
  • Tracks SMS scores and responds to SPHRs.
  • Compiles and prioritizes project updates from various stakeholders and team members, in support of team strategies and goals.
  • Manages and monitors teams’ communication channels to ensure consistent and timely access to information and messaging.
  • Receives objective-based assignments from Leadership and then prioritizes the initiative’s completion while reviewing resources needed to execute the goal with operational effectiveness.

  • Work independently on issues of diverse scope and bring a high level of organizational and operational rigor.
  • Quickly recognize and resolve challenges that arise during the course of normal team activities.
  • Continuously learn about current Transportation issues and emerging trends while working in a fluid and fast-paced work setting.
  • Build strong working relationships, and interact with a wide range of internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Travel regionally as required.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 -5 years of combined experience in transportation, film, and television production.
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience managing programs and projects is a plus.
  • Able to be discreet and handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options.
